This initiative is derived from a Memorandum of Understanding signed in March 2003 with the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS) for the provision of Quality and Environment Management Systems support to companies in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Sector (MSME) of the economy.

It is expected that this programme will result in the identification of business opportunities available locally and provide step by step start up information in the local context. Tracer studies will enable participating companies, and by extension the government, to qualitatively assess value added to the MSME sector.
